Wynn Millions awarded $15M GTD Prize at World Series of Poker

The Wynn Millions is returning early next year, with the tournament taking place from February 21 to March 20. Outside of the World Series of Poker, which is the main point of competitive poker in Las Vegas and much of the United States, the series is billed as one of the largest.

Many Tournament Action Heading to Wynn Poker Room

After being allowed to reopen following the trough of the COVID-19 outbreak, Wynn has been actively striving to attract additional world series of poker action on its casino floors. The business will welcome players to join the major $10 million guaranteed events as early as March 3 in the next incarnation of the Wynn Millions Poker Series.

Over several weeks of heated competition, the series will award prize pools totaling $15 million. For the Main Event, buy-ins will range from $400 to $10,000, with numerous events on the circuit providing seven figures. Aside from the Main Event, players can participate in the Mystery Bounty NLH for a chance to win a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.

Then, on March 13 and 14, there’s a Texas Hold’em No Limit event with a $3,500 buy-in and a guaranteed $2 million prize pool. While the buy-ins for most of the events are considerable, they will also draw a professional crowd of poker players interested in trying out new formats and securing a win as a warm-up for the next World Series of Poker (WSOP) event.

Wynn Millions Made as Worthwhile Format for Poker Fans

The 2021 event has proven to be a fantastic milestone in the poker industry, according to Wynn Las Vegas executive director of poker operations Ryan Beauregard, and one that the hosts are eager to run at least once more.

“The wide variety of players and personalities from around the globe who participate in this tournament makes it a world-class experience,” According to a press release obtained by Poker News, Beauregard remarked.

In the run-up to the new year, the Wynn Poker Room has been hopping with poker action, hosting several events. Card rooms have been able to mobilize players into action and tap into pent-up demand since poker returned to The Strip. The Wynn Winter Classic event, which ended on Monday, was just completed in the card room.

Poker News, which has been partnering with the card room, will once again cover the event closely next year. The big prize has been prepared by the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
